We accept most PPO insurances: Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, HealthNet, Exclusive Care, GHI, UnitedHealthcare. 

HMO insurances: Please sign up with Regal Medical Group. www.RegalMed.com.

We welcome Medicare.

For MediCal: Please sign up with IEHP and choose Alpha Care Medical Group. www.AlphaCareMedicalGroup.com.  We do not see straight Medi-Cal or Molina.

If you have questions about health insurance or coverage, please contact our office for assistance. 


For IEHP and UnitedHealthcare patients: Your insurances are contracted with Labcorp to provide laboratory services.

For other insurances: Your insurances are likely contracted with Quest Diagnostics to provide laboratory services.

At the end of the visit, you will be provided a lab order to take to the labs. You can walk-in to any locations. However, we encourage you to go online to either www.Labcorp.com or www.QuestDiagnostics.com to schedule an appointment.

Most lab tests need to be fasting for 10-12 hours. Fasting means no eating for 10-12 hours but drinking water is ok. We encourage you to drink at least 2 glasses of water before your scheduled blood tests to avoid dehydration.


We mainly use Healthcare Imaging Centers for imaging studies. www.RadNet.com

At the end of the visit, you will be provided an order for the imaging studies. You can go to any location of Healthcare Imaging Centers. For X-Ray studies, no appointment is needed. For other studies such as Ultrasound or CT scan or MRI, you need to call for an appointment. 


For most referrals, we need to submit your medical records to your insurance for the prior authorization.  The prior authorization is an agreement by your insurance that they will pay for the specialist(s) to see you.  It usually takes the insurance 2-5 business days to give us an approval or denial. They should also send you the approval or denial. If you don't hear from them within 1-2 weeks, please give us a call.

For urgent referrals, please follow up with us by phone calls within 2-3 business days. 


If you can't make it to the appointment, please call us as soon as possible. We would like to be able to give the appointment slot to the people who need same day appointments. You may be charged a no-show fee if you cancel multiple appointments. 


Please allow at least 2 business days to refill the prescriptions. We do not refill on weekends or holidays. 

Please allow 3-7 business days to complete any forms. You may be charged a fee for completion of forms.
